playing tourist

Can we all just agree that playing tourist in your own city is one of the best things ever? Especially if your city is Portland. This place has so much to offer, and yet I feel like I've never taken advantage of it. So, when I discovered Megan also had a Monday off, it was decided we'd start the day off with breakfast (at one of the places that's just too busy on a weekend) and go from there.
Broder Nord, you did not disappoint

I cannot wait to go back to this little place when it's actually open
vintage everything
pink wall heart eyes
double the latte
my favorite wall in Portland
^this is what me trying to learn how to manually work my camera looks like (but I kind of like it)

p.s. if anyone is dying to know where Megan's coat is from, Free People is where it's at

Christmas in New York

Yes, I was blessed with the opportunity to spend this Christmas in New York City! I don't even know where to begin with posting pictures because I took so many.  So for the occasion, I'll start with some Christmas views I saw.  I hope you're having a very Merry Christmas!

These two were so cute waiting for their Christmas brunch with Santa!
I loved seeing the city in this way, but was disappointed that it never snowed while I was there.  In fact, it was 70 degrees one day! Next time I go back I think I want to see the city in the Spring or Fall.

Halloween

After deciding last minute to go as an 80's girl this Halloween, I realized immediately I was raised in the wrong decade. Why isn't it still appropriate to dress in leotards and big headbands? And don't even get me started on how perfect my thick wavy hair would have been.

Easter

I don't really remember the last time I celebrated Easter, so to celebrate with the Freeman's was quite the treat this year.  I was pretty excited to hear there would be an Easter egg hunt which was set up for Hannah, but I made it be for me as well. I mostly enjoyed all the food but most of the afternoon was spent playing corn hole which I discovered I'm not very good at. Oh, and Hannah thinks she's a bunny...

early christmas

I already got to enjoy Christmas with my other family.  My favorite gifts would have to include gift cards to my favorite restaurants.
